Licenses and releases for creative work
Selling the right to use a photo, an illustration or a beat is not the same as selling the file. What matters is the scope: where it may appear, for how long, and whether the buyer may change it.
These records spell out that scope in plain words. The model release does the reverse — it records that the person in your photos agreed to how you will use them.
